Fortis Energy Services delivers a complete set of high performance and safety-first solutions for well services, completions and production in America’s largest producing onshore basins.

Solutions

The Fortis Designed Solutions program is designed for the modern unconventional horizontal well. Our experienced local crews are trained to increase operating efficiencies resulting in valuable customer time savings. We operate on 24/7 or 12-hour shifts.

We deliver a complete life cycle of solutions and services for horizontal and vertical wells – Completions, Production, Extended Life work, Plug & Abandonments – to customers producing oil and natural gas in some of America’s best oil and gas regions, including: Haynesville, Eagle Ford, Permian, Powder River, Appalachia, Williston, Ark-La-Tex, and Michigan.

Our equipment and professional crews have worked on wells drilled more than 25,000 feet with complex lateral lengths reaching more than 25,000 feet.

We custom-design and deliver completion and production service solutions that fit your needs.

Health & Safety

A rigorous preventive maintenance program is designed around each category of our equipment which extends the operating life, reduces emissions through extensive filtration and routine engine adjustments to keep the engines burning clean, a reduction in unplanned repairs and maintenance minimizing overall NPT while on location. We regularly schedule maintenance work on our equipment during idle times to ensure less disruption and downtime onsite.

Intertwined with our maintenance program are our multi-level Health and Safety programs. Our most important asset is our professionals. Fortis tracks observations, stop-work notifications, rig up inspections, rig and equipment inspections, incident reporting, etc. in real-time using our HSE technology platform. Our personnel are trained in our Preventative Maintenance program to follow strict procedures to ensure optimal useful life from each and every piece of equipment. Our support staff works with operations to ensure all critical spare parts are on hand and all of our equipment is maintained according to local, state, and API standards.

Nathan Conway, CEO of Fortis Energy Services
Nathan Conway

Mr. Conway, a third-generation oilman, has over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and became the Chief Executive Officer of Fortis Energy Services in December 2012. Mr. Conway’s leadership abilities have enabled him to drive Fortis to success through a corporate structure led by an expert management team with vast experience in the oil and gas industry. As CEO, Mr. Conway set Safety and Service Quality as primary core values, along with a strong commitment to community outreach and a dedication to American veterans. He attributes much of the company success to the “can-do” attitude of their people, top-notch equipment and a strong corporate work ethic across the company.

Prior to joining Fortis, Mr. Conway served as Chief Operating Officer of Ward Williston Oil Company, a North Dakota based E&P and oilfield services company. He led the day-to-day operations of the business and was responsible for overseeing the strategic plan to grow the company within the Williston Basin of North Dakota and expand its holdings in Colorado and Michigan. In March 2011, Mr. Conway led the highly successful divestiture of Ward Williston’s oilfield service division and in March 2012 all of Ward Williston’s operated and non-operated producing assets.

Mr. Conway is active in his professional and local community serving as an elder and former member of the Board of Trustees, Session and Personnel Committee Chairman of Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian Church, a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and past member of the Board of Directors of the North Dakota Petroleum Council. Mr. Conway continually supports both financially as well as offering his business acumen to the boards of directors of ForAfrika USA to help feed and educate children in Africa and the Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation. Mr. Conway has been honored by Crain’s Detroit as one of the 40 under 40, Business Watch Magazine as one of their 40 under 40, Platt’s Global Energy Award as a finalist for their Rising Star Award, Prairie Business for their 40 under 40 business award, DBusiness 30 in their Thirties, Oakland County’s Elite 40 Under 40 and a recipient of the ESGR’s Patriot Award, and Top 100 Executives in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Conway earned his degree from Minot State University and his MBA from the University of Michigan. His wife, Molly, and he have two children, Sophia and Ethan.

Adam Pomichowski
Adam Pomichowski

Mr. Pomichowski has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He joined Fortis in April 2013 and serves as the company’s Vice President of Finance & Strategy. He is responsible for the financial strategy of the overall company and the creation and implementation of various models that allow the company to visualize various strategies and initiatives. Mr. Pomichowski has led the initiative to bring technology into the company becoming essentially paperless through 2020. Mr. Pomichowski works closely with the CEO and senior management to set the strategy for the business, moving the company forward in line with stated core values and specific goals. Mr. Pomichowski’ s advanced modeling techniques have allowed Fortis to achieve optimal efficiency and cost savings passed directly to their customers.

Prior to joining Fortis, Mr. Pomichowski worked for Ward Williston Oil Company and Atlas Oil Company, where he provided analytical support to aid in the strategic growth of both companies. Mr. Pomichowski is active in his local community, he is currently serving as an elected Director of the Polish American Federal Credit Union. Mr. Pomichowski was recognized as one of Pennsylvania’s top “Foremost Under 40.” Mr. Pomichowski holds a green belt certification in lean six sigma from Villanova University. He earned both a BS and MBA from Wayne State University.

Meghan McWilliams, Vice President of Human Resources
Meghan McWilliams

Ms. McWilliams joined Fortis in 2014 and currently serves as Vice President Human Resources. Ms. McWilliams manages all aspects of the HR Department including planning and directing the organization’s talent management, HR strategy, benefits administration, payroll oversight, training, staffing, employee relations, and workers compensation management. Ms. McWilliams participates in key decision-making pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating models and operational execution.

Ms. McWilliams received the American Society of Employers HR Executive of the Year in 2015 for her meritorious work in establishing the Fortis4Vets hiring program, which transitions military veterans into gainful careers. Additionally, Ms. McWilliams was voted one of the Top 100 Executives in Pennsylvania in 2019.Ms. McWilliams holds both Professional in HR (PHR) and SHRM-CP Certifications and earned both a BS and MSA from Central Michigan University.

Joyce Ryel, Vice President of HSEQ
Joyce Ryel

Ms. Ryel joined Fortis in 2018 bringing with her considerable knowledge in the field of health, safety, environmental safekeeping and quality for both crew and client alike. Ms. Ryel is responsible for planning and directing the HSEQ function across the company and leads a team of HSE professionals who dedicate each day to training, mentoring and guiding a safe operation in the field to insure everyone arrives home safe each day. With more than 26 years in the oil and gas industry Ms. Ryel brings a vast amount of experience in leading companies in HSEQ who are on a fast track for growth.

Prior to joining Fortis, Ms. Ryel spent the past two decades with Houston-based Superior Energy Services serving in several roles, including HSE Director, HSEQ Corporate Auditor, and Senior Advisor – DOT & Regulatory Policy for Superior’s North American operations. MS. Ryel received both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma where she was also a professor, teaching transportation safety and DOT regulations. Ms. Ryel has served in numerous leadership positions, including the chairperson for the National Service, Transmission, Exploration and Production Safety Network (STEPS), the American Petroleum Institute (API) Recommended Practice (RP) 54 Task Group, and as President of the Association of Energy Service Companies (AESC). She was honored as the Oklahoma Safety Management Council Professional of the Year, along with the AESC’s Safety Person of the Year and Golden Rod Wrench Lifetime Achievement Award.

Brandon Baudry
Brandon Baudry

Mr. Baudry joined Fortis Energy Services in 2018 and serves as VP Business Development. Prior to his current position, he held other leadership positions within the company including Regional Manager – NE region, Director and Business Development. His leadership to improve operations, drive sales, and diversify the customer base has played a key role on the executive management team. Mr. Baudry is responsible for sales, customer service, and development in all markets within Fortis’ areas of operation and beyond with the vision to be operating in each of the major shale plays in the next three years. Mr. Ba udry’s vast multi-basin industry experience and proven work ethic is leading the company’s growth in Tier 1 customers and customer diversification.

Prior to joining Fortis, Mr. Baudry worked for a diversified oil and gas service company with operations in all major shale plays in the US. He served as Division Manager, and was responsible for sales, marketing, and day-to-day operations, creating a climate of continual growth and business development. Mr. Baudry is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in business.
