Ms. Berg joined Fortis in 2014 and currently serves as Vice President Human Resources. Ms. Berg manages all aspects of the HR Department including planning and directing the organization’s talent management, HR strategy, benefits administration, payroll oversight, training, staffing, employee relations, and workers compensation management. Ms. Berg participates in key decision-making pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating models and operational execution.

Ms. Berg received the American Society of Employers HR Executive of the Year in 2015 for her meritorious work in establishing the Fortis4Vets hiring program, which transitions military veterans into gainful careers. Additionally, Ms. Berg was voted one of the Top 100 Executives in Pennsylvania in 2019.

Prior to joining Fortis, Ms. Berg served as the Human Resources Manager for US Farathane, a leading plastics manufacturer for the automotive industry, where she was responsible for managing all facets of HR for a facility of over 200 employees. Prior to 2011, Ms. Berg led the human resources team at Arrow Strategies, a talent acquisition firm based in Bingham Farms, MI. Ms. Berg holds both Professional in HR (PHR) and SHRM-CP Certifications and earned both a BS and MSA from Central Michigan University.
